SILVER-PLATED VINTAGE COUNTESS FOOTED SERVING BOWL BY INTERNATIONAL SILVER

Description

This is a gorgeous, three-footed vegetable/serving bowl in the wonderful Countess pattern by International Silver. It measures about 11¼” in diameter and stands about 2½” tall. Silver-plated hollowware of substantial weight. The International Silver Company of Meriden, Connecticut, was founded as a corporation in 1898, and this mid-century modern piece dates to about 1950/1960. Marked “Countess [logo for company] International Silver Company.” High quality and weight. Exceptionally good condition with only light interior scratching and slight wear on bottoms of feet and base; no dents, bends, stains, discoloration, repairs, or other cosmetic/structural issues. Coming from a private collection. Truly functional and beautiful! Non-smoking household.
