Presented for your consideration is this specimen of one of the most iconic "issue" items to the WWII GI-the so-called "pro-kit" or Individual Chemical Prophylactic Packet. This "pro-kit" is in untouched, uncleaned, as-found condition and is right out of an estate. It is unopened.  Along with a black crackle Zippo lighter and a pack of Lucky Strike "greens," the "pro-kit" is a foundational item in ANY collection of WWII GI personal items. US GIs + exotic locales + foreign accents = "pro-kit." Is further explanation necessary? Classic militaria from Brother Rabbit's hutch!
