With 330gsm 80/20 blend looped pile microfiber material this pad makes a great general purpose wet or dry cleaning pad for any type of flooring. An added sponge in the middle helps hold your cleaning solutions and release the liquid equally as your move across the floor.
These microfiber pads are naturally antimicrobial, require no chemicals to effectively clean and remove germs, hold 7 times their weight in liquid, and can withstand several hundred launderings, making them one of the best floor mops you can buy.
Our long lasting touch fastener backing actually gets stronger the more you wash it, unlike the other pads you've tried that melt in the laundry process and no longer stick to your frame.
Pads are produced longer than desired length to ensure a long life cycle due to natural heat shrinkage associated with all microfiber products. For example, a new 18" pad will actually measure 20" in length. You can expect shrinkage on the first laundering, so this extra length give you some protection against base boards as well as ensures you can launder it hundreds of times and still fit your frame.
Microfiber Wet/Dry Mop Pads: These looped pile microfiber pads offer superior absorbency, durability, and is the most versatile on the widest range of flooring types. Looped End microfiber glides easily across any type of surface when used for wet or dry mopping. Consisting of an 80/20 polyester/nylon blend microfiber material which allows for superior fiber split allowing more fiber to pick up dirt, dust, germs and bacteria. These pads will last several hundred launderings and offer more surface friction than any long fiber style pad. The looped end material creates a wicking action when pulled across the floor, leaving virtually nothing in its path. Each microfiber loop measures only 3/8" in length and is packed in densely one on top of another maximizing the cleaning potential and absorbency. These pads will our perform pads consisting of longer style loops and will be more user friendly and easier to use than cut pile microfiber pads. Cut pile pads consist of millions of tiny fibers with severed ends, and while this does create maximum surface friction for cleaning, it also makes it very hard to push across the floor when wet. Pads with longer material loops don't offer the surface friction needed to achieve a sufficient clean, and will snag on everything they come in contact with.
