    Meade 5.3" ID Clamshell for 4.5" Newtonian Telescope - Gently Used
    Here is a Meade 5.3" clamshell hinged ring for a 4.5"(mirror diameter) Newtonian telescope. Some models this fits are:  Meade DS2114AT, Meade DS2114, Meade DS2114ATE.  If you have a Meade DS2000 mount head, this will fit onto it.  Most newtonian tubes that use a 114mm or 4.5" mirror will fit into a 5.3" clamshell so there are many possible tubes that can fit in this.  The inside diameter is about 5.3". This is a hinged clamp ring so it can be fully opened to put the tube on the mount or loosened to adjust the tube back and forth for balance. It has felt inside so it won't scratch the tube. It uses 4 screws to attach the ring to your mount (not included). If you need a 5.3" clamshell for a tube you have, here you are and at a cheap price.
