Description

For sale is a Hammond RT-3. It has the same guts as a B3/C3, the same tone generator, vibrato scanner, percussion. It also has a full size 32 pedal AGO radial pedal board with that can sound the tone generator as well as an additional organ that can be toggled for beefy pedal solos.
I acquired this unit from an estate sale with the idea that I was going to restore it to it's former glory, but it's been sitting in the garage as I simply haven't had the time. My wife wants her parking spot back so sadly I've got to let it go. I run it almost every day and it's been oiled and played regularly.
The pre-amp needs some love as the percussion isn't currently working properly. I also suspect a loose connection from the vibrato scanner as it sounds way too quiet. I would think a servicing and some new tubes would do the trick.
I also haven't been able to test the solo pedal unit as it is missing a tube, so I can't asses whether or not it functions. There is also a bad connection somewhere between the pedal drawbars and the TG as they make a high pitched sound when pulled out.
The cabinet is in pretty good shape and I'm sure it could be cleaned up quite nicely. I'm hoping that I can find someone who wants to restore this beauty. All reasonable offers will be considered.
