    Description

HAMMOND  ORGAN    MODEL  A         the plate is stamped MODEL  A  not  AV  or AC or anything else.
    BENCH
    BASS  PEDALS
It comes with   TREK REVERB and TREK  PERCUSSION
Check out  the TREK  site to see the costs of those items and add installation  charges by a professional tech  to  get an idea  of the    value  of this organ.
While it originally had     ratchet    drawbars I think  either these   were changed  or    use so much they don't click like   my CV   clicked .       While I wouldn't   say they are   SMOOTH     they glide   fairly easily.  Obviously this is PRE   FOAM   so no issues there.
The    organ plays great,     solid cabinet but the  wood piece in  front  [ by your knees lets say]  could be  secured better. Also to the left where they added something is loose but  it is  not falling apart by any means.   I've taken the rear  panel off and   am not sure if that was original  or not. It had   HOME DEPOT     screws  and tape to keep it on.
You can have it if you  want it   but there is some   dry rot  inside... also the pedals   bounce  and need adjustments.
There may or may not be missing tones,    overall it was   great when last played.     My mom  died and  I no longer   have the  desire to play it. Also   I  have  bills from the hospital and  ambulance  so that is the reason  for me   willing to sell it and let it  go. The Leslie   is not  included and is not  original but it has a 122  AMP  and  perhaps   for someone  willing to pay   what I paid for  the set   can make an  offer    as I will list the Leslie if the organ sells, I am  relisting this   due to non payment.  Someone wanted it but   never paid.   I do not accept payments.    For those who want to make payments they should open a savings account ,  make the payments to that account and when they have enough money  then they  can buy what they want.   I was poor and  know what it is like to want something so bad and have no money...   but I worked hard  for it when I was younger.   Back to the LESLIE  for a bit. I had a local  tech work  on it  maybe  5 years ago.    So that should be  great.     You would need to   speak to me    to discuss the  entire  package though.  Its too difficult for me  to   do it all here.      The organ is  in nice shape,   not   a MUSEUM  piece   by any means  but has a nice HAMMOND tone when   played through the LESLIE . There is no sound without the LESLIE    and again  this auction is just for  the organ, NO SPEAKERS are  included .     I have seen people     sell just the benches   for lots of money. I think  this is a  fair price   considering they no longer make these organs and    the prices  just seem to be  going up and up.     Of course  there  are costs to doing business so  I won't even  be getting the full amount as you know. I just wish someone   could use it  and   play it.   I am just not  able to  play the  organ  yet.   I am  also not  destitute. If it sells  , fine, if not  its ok.      AS for shipping  we need to discuss  that  before you or your moving   company   come pick it up.  PLEASE ASK   any questions before you bid. It is not  nice or not fair to bid then not pay.    I  lost track on how many times   people have done this to me over the years!   I feel  I described this to the best of my  knowledge and  hope you understand or at least ask  questions which hopefully  I  can answer  before you bid.    Thanks for reading all of this.
Organ is working and sounds great .  It  does make   some  kind of  noise or hum      since it is  mechanical  machine with  moving  parts   so do not expect it to be whisper     quiet,  however ,  once you play  it you shouldn't hear it at all.  I  use to play  the organ in church and  many organs   do this , its to be expected. This  was before the digital age...  I have to say this because some  people   are expecting  an organ that is almost   90  years old to be in perfect  tip top    condition and not make a sound  until they play  it.   I am being TOTALLY   HONEST  an  upfront  if nothing else,  something you  rarely   find these  days when people  are selling   used vintage merchandise. I strongly  encourage you to   do your due diligence and ASK   QUESTIONS before  bidding.   It is not like you are buying a house  but I had a lady complain  of a   ding on  a    wax  candle from the  50s once.     I try to be  very thorough with my  descriptions to the best of my  ability.
Has   drawbars,    LESLIE  HALF MOON control  switch  [  wired for a  LESLIE SPEAKER   which is not included in this auction  but will be listed in another auction].
    PERCUSSION
    REVERB  knob
VERY IMPORTANT : PLEASE NOTE this organ does not  come with built in speakers. You will need to provide your own  speakers or purchase a Leslie.    Without it there will be no sound.   To the person with the winning bid you will have   first option   on the LESLIE  as I will   create a BUY IT NOW   ad  and  allow you to  make the purchase if so desired.
BUYER TO PAY   shipping costs.   I can help you  locate  a moving  company  if you need one.
