Gorham Santa Fe Railroad Silverplate Silver Soldered 20 oz Soup Tureen w/ Lid #2

Description

This is an antique silver soldered commercial grade lidded soup tureen used in the dining cars of the Santa Fe Railroad made by Gorham. It is engraved with "Santa Fe" on the lid, on the side of the tureen, and on the bottom. The bottom is also marked with the Gorham logo and a bird mark.
The tureen holds 20 ounces of liquid and measures 5-5/8" in diameter, not including the side handles. It is about 5" high including the lid.
The tureen has some use wear/scratches and some tiny dings.
