Exceptional Large Size Silverplate Compote Tazza Pedestal Centerpiece Bowl
Presented is an elegant silver plate pedestal footed centerpiece bowl or
compote. This piece dates to around the 1980s-2000s, and is likely of Italian
make, though we aren't sure. The dish is made in a beautiful classical form,
with vertical fluted decoration at points around the side and around the foot.
The bowl has a vibrant hand hammered finish that catches the light very
appealingly.
This piece is in great overall condition. There are a couple of minor dings
here and there, but nothing of any significance, particularly with the hand
hammered finish. There are no splits, no dents, no breaks, no monograms, no
monogram removals, and no repairs.
This piece stands about 7 1/8 inches tall at the rim and measures about 12
1/8 inches in diameter.
This piece weighs 1436 grams or 50.7 regular ounces.
