    Daniel F. Beatty Golden Tongue Palour Reed Organ.
    Made in late 1800s. Serial # 140391. Improved Vox Humana. 61 keys. Does work. Just needs some TLC. Missing some knob faces, see photo. Made by Daniel F. Beatty in Washington N.J. Has scratches on side and some wear. Ready for restoration or use as-is for a truly unique decor piece.
    Daniel F. Beatty was one of the first piano and organ manufacturers to utilize the mail order system to sell his instruments. Established about 1869 in Washington, New Jersey, Beatty sold instruments to farms and rural areas via mass mailings and aggressive advertising campaigns which were far ahead of their time. Beatty also sold organs under the name “Beethoven“.
