Description
I got this organ a few months ago and have mostly restored it. I am unfortunately moving and can't fit it in my new house. I would love for it to go to someone else who will also care for it and play it.It's from the late 50s, and was the first transistor organ ever made. It is such a beautiful piece of electrical engineering. It was before they had figured out how to make oscillators that could produce different notes, so there are some 150-odd individual oscillators, each tuned manually with a stack of soldered ceramic capacitors.
It doesn't include the original amp, but I've put some standard 1/4" jacks on it which output at roughly line level. I feed this into a mixer, which you can buy off me too if you haven't got anything to feed it into.
One of the oscillators is faulty, and some of the pedals don't work (I expect a simple issue with the connector, but I haven't had time to hunt down), otherwise fully working. The wood isn't in great condition (as pictured -- the varnish is peeling off) but this could easily be restored.
Also included is the service manual, which has a full circuit diagram of the organ and explains how to fix things.
There is also a full pedal board -- missing from the pictures.
