NEW Leather coupling straps for
Kinetic Pipe Organ Blower Couplers
This listing is for brand-new custom-made leather coupling straps that are used for connecting the motor and fan hubs together on Kinetic Pipe Organ blowers, which were built by a subsidiary of M.P. Möller. These couplings can also be used for those applications where generators were driven by the blower shaft.
Your purchase will include two coupling straps.
Before making a purchase,
please be sure to check your blower to see how many pairs you will need.
For both safety reasons
and because the size of these new straps are shorter than your existing straps, you should plan on replacing
ALL
of your straps at the same time.
PHYSICAL DIMENSIONS (overall):
Length = 5”
Width = 2”
Thickness = 11/64” (Approximate)
These can be doubled-up for high horsepower applications.
Please note that these coupler straps are 1" shorter than the Kinetic originals.  They were deliberately shortened based upon the recommendation of a client that experenced failure issues with the longer straps due to their bunching-up from repeated applications of high startup torque. The shorter size presents no compatability issues, provided all straps are replaced simultaneously and actually improves performance because the leather straps are not as likely to tear due to startup torque issues
